In the app today
Say it once, in your own words.
Typing a reminder is a small tax on a thought you already had. Speaking is not. So capture is a sentence, not a form.
You start it. Every time.
Lila records when you tell it to and stops when you are done. There is no always-on microphone in this product, and nothing on this page should be read as one.
The audio does not stick around
Your recording is transcribed and then deleted. What is kept is the text and what Lila understood from it. Which is also the part you can read back and correct.
It hears the thing, not just the words
"Call Mum before her flight on Thursday" is a person, a time and a reason. Lila keeps all three, so the reminder can be about the flight rather than about 6pm.
It still works with no signal
The on-device half of Lila is not a degraded mode. Capture, reminders and the daily ritual keep working on the Free plan, on a plane, with nothing to sync to.
Lila is in closed beta. No public App Store or Google Play listing yet.
